We welcome you to visit the Amazon, without leaving Quito at our unique coffee shop and handcraft gallery established in 2004.

We have filling breakfast ($2.50) and lunch specials ($3.50) and cultural dinners ($7.50) with several options. We feature the best fair trade organic coffee in Ecuador. For chocaholics, we have gourmet dark chocolate, exquisite brownies and hot chocolate featuring organic cacao from Kallari farmers. Our free wireless cafe is completely owned, staffed and operated by our Kichwa organization.

VIVA User's Guide Description
Kallari is a community-owned coffee shop, restaurant and crafts shop owned by an association of Kichwa communities in the Napo province, mostly from the Amazon Rainforest. Organic coffee, organic chocolate in brownies and hot chocolate accompany tasty snacks and meals. One of the best features that Kallari offers is their cultural dinner: if you have a group of at least 6 people, you can reserve a private 3-course meal of typical Amazon dishes along with a 15-minute presentation of Kichwa language, culture, crafts and their methods of organic coffee and chocolate production. The price is $7.50 per person.
