Coordinator

Responsibilities/ Possible projects:

  • Maintaining volunteer project folder: removing completed projects and adding new ones
  • Corresponding with volunteers via email before arrival
  • Assigning volunteers to specific projects and reviewing progress
  • Finding accomodation for volunteers in Quito/Tena
  • Helping new volunteers get settled in Quito/Tena
  • Instructing volunteers in basic procedures within Kallari
  • Requesting regular project update reports from volunteers and collating
  • Liaising with directors in staff in Tena to organise projects in the communities
  • Travelling to Tena and the communities with new volunteers
  • Initiating new projects
  • Advertising volunteer opportunities on the web and with specific universities

    Requirements:

  • Min time: 3 months
  • Good organisational skills
  • Minimum conversational Spanish
  • Responsible and pro-active attitude
  • Good problem-solver
