Conduct Job Training

Time Required: 2 weeks – 1 month
Location: Quito and/or Tena
Requirements: Familiarity with Kallari procedures; some business knowledge; conversational Spanish
Notes:

  • Train Maik or staff in Tena on business and marketing
  • Ensure continuity of knowledge within Kallari communities after volunteers leave
  • Areas to be covered:
        Basic marketing principles
        Keep database updated with distributors details
        Keep in regular contact with current distributors (along with Carol – divide up)
        Send thank-you notes after each order is sent
        Maintain order forms, invoices and receipts
        Generate invoices
        Send out orders as they come in on-line
        Liaise with exporters
